Wall Sconces
Sconces have gained much attention in the home.
Instead of the typical overhead fixture, sconces add balance to any area. Sconces can be used to illuminate high ceilings and vaulted areas by uplighting your ceiling to show the architectural details and complex angles, usually left dark and un-lit.
A favorite place we have experienced is hallways. Hallway sconces make a flush ceiling fixture look bland, in comparison to staggered or symmetrical sconces leading into your grand hallway corridor.
Adding warmth and ambiance is easily achieved by using sconces on each side of a mirror over an occasional table.
Four corners in a bedroom gives the feel of balance and comfort, without overhead lights that can add glare and stress.
